Welcome to our East Bay Ophthalmology Internship page. One of the most important career choices physicians and other medical staff will make is deciding what medical specialty to go into. We have had many employees and interns from the East Bay who are striving to become physicians, optometrists, nurses and physician assistants. If you have an interest in pursuing medicine and getting experience in patient care, we offer an ophthalmology internship, where you can gain valuable experience in medicine from Dr. Richard L. Rabin, MD. Please reach out to us if you are interested.

We have invested in state of the art technology and integrated a teaching viewfinder with two of our slit lamps. This allows students to examine patients along with Dr. Rabin. The operating room has a viewable video feed. Our advanced technology in the office allows students to view the fundus (retina) with a teaching indirect ophthalmoscope or via testing.
