Welcome to your Orinda Eye Doctor
Schedule your appointment with us today!
We provide primary eye care, Optometry, Ophthalmology, glasses, and cataract surgery to Orinda and have proudly served the Orinda community in the same location for 52 years. We provide both ophthalmology and optometry services to Orinda and have an extensive selection of designer eyewear.
Orinda is a beautiful area and we strive to provide eyewear just as beautiful. It is difficult to have a single pair of sunglasses that works for all conditions. Regarding tints: Orinda Country Club golfers can speak to our optician about the best sunglass tint based on the color of your golf ball. Orinda can get fog, which is better navigated with an amber tinted sunglass to enhance contrast (which shines in lower light days). Dark gray tinted lenses are great for those scorching Summer days where the A/C can’t seem to get cool enough. Don’t forget your hat! (not sold here)
Regarding polarization: Whether you are spending a day at the San Pablo reservoir or the Briones Reservoir, polarized sunglasses are important to decrease glare from light that reflects off the water and improve comfort and visualization.

Reviews
โMy husband went in for his yearly eye exam and two weeks later, Dr. Rabin called him, stating that he wasnโt satisfied with one of his test results, so he sent him for an MRI. If he didnโt do this, we would have never found out that my husband had a tumor on the lining of his brain. Even the Neurologist told us we had a great eye doctor! Thank Dr. Rabin for taking that extra step; so thankful!โ
